The SetTimeout method sets the number of seconds the client
will wait for a response from the remote host. Once the specified
number of seconds has elapsed, the method will fail and return to the
caller.
Parameters
- nTimeout
- The number of seconds to wait for a blocking operation to complete.
Return Value
If the method succeeds, the return value is zero. If the method
fails, the return value is INET_ERROR. To get extended error
information, call GetLastError.
Remarks
The timeout value is only used with blocking client
connections.
