Gets and sets the device type for the current dial-up networking
connection.
Syntax
[form.]object.DeviceType [=
devicetype ]
Remarks
The DeviceType property returns the type of device that the
connection was established with. Setting this property will change
the type of device that will be used to establish the connection.
Valid device names are:

Because changing the device type can change the current device
name, it is recommended that applications change this property value
before changing the value of the DeviceName property.
