The GetTimeout method returns the number of seconds the
client will wait for a response from the server. Once the
specified number of seconds has elapsed, the method will fail and
return to the caller.
Parameters
None.
Return Value
If the method succeeds, the return value is the timeout period in
seconds. If the method fails, the return value is NNTP_ERROR. To get
extended error information, call GetLastError.
Remarks
The timeout value is only used with blocking client connections. A
value of zero indicates that the default timeout period of 20 seconds
should be used.
